Kansas City Millwork is wholesale millwork distributor serving the whole Kansas City Metro area home builders, remodelers and commercial contractors. Kansas City Millwork offers a full line of moulding in stock with unlimited custom capabilities. We offer a full line of wood and iron stair parts.

This position requires frequent handling of doors, cabinets, windows, lumber, and molding. Duties include loading, delivery, and unloading of millwork products. This is an opportunity to provide excellent customer service as an important representative of the company.
Essential Functions:
Unloads delivery trucksLift, pull, pushes, and loads materials into bobtails or trailersHeavy demands - exert up to 100lbs of force occasionally, 50lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly to move objects. Frequently standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, grasping, lifting, climbing, sitting, pushing, pulling, driving, and talking. Occasionally typing and writing.Secures loads using straps, poles, or ropesDaily performs safety vehicle checks on forklifts for safety purposesCleans and maintains work area free from dirt and clutter to prevent accidents and allow for safe forklift movement within the warehouseCompletes proper paperwork to verify loading and submits to the Warehouse ManagerCreates and processes pick suggestionsPrints transport notes and sorts by route and destinationDrives company trucks in heavy traffic and mountainous terrainResponsible for keeping company vehicles neat and tidyPerforms vehicle safety checks and fills out Driver's Vehicle Condition reports as required by DOTMaintains a clean driving recordWorks overtime as neededAttends safety meetingsPerforms other duties as requested by the Warehouse and Transportation Manager
