Co.**** Ready Mix Driver Trainee**Vermillion, SD 57069Receive a pay increase once you get your full CDL - potential to earn up to $50000+ annually as a new CDL driver!This is a seasonal, full time position.**JOB SUMMARY**Complete training course provided by the company to be able to drive a Ready Mix truck to deliver concrete mix to job sites.**EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**- Must have completed the written part for your CDL license.- Driving portion for the CDL will be provided by the company.- Valid Driver's License. Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL within a reasonable amount of time.- Must also be able to pass a DOT Medical Examination.**DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES**- Complete training assignments that are provided by the company.- Assist in daily truck inspections, positioning truck, attaching chutes, adjust drum, climb ladder with 3 point contact to inspect load or clean drum- Must be available to work overtime hours during the construction season.- Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending training.- Reports any safety concerns.- Performs other duties as assigned.Typical hours during Production are M-F 7am-5pm.
