Position Summary:

Iron Vine Security is a rapidly growing information security and information technology company in Washington, DC. We are looking to hire a Program Manager to support a full range of cyber security services on a long-term contract in Washington DC. The position is full time/permanent and will support a US Government civilian agency. The position is available immediately upon finding a qualified candidate with the appropriate background clearance.

Job Requirements:• Ensure all tasks are executed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with technical requirements.• Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.• Ability to work with people of varied technical backgrounds and management levels.• Demonstrated deep technical level experience supporting security network defense and strategies.• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities.• A technical, not academic, understanding of the current threats and tactics being used to attack systems.• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with information technology• Professionals, and technical and non-technical users.

Education/Certifications/Licenses:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Associate• EC Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)• Formal IT Security/Network Certification such as SANS GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), SANS GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA) or SANS GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

Additional Experience Preferred:• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred• Minimum of 5 years' experience in SOC/CIRT with 2-3 years of specific experience as a Lead Analyst or SOC Manager• Experience with Splunk and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint preferred• Previous SOC/ CIRT experience at a federal agency similar in size, scope, and complexity

Position Responsibilities:• Performing day to day management of the contractor staff• Perform more detailed operations support alongside client staff• Coordinate incident response with security operations staff in coordination with client staff• Create and continuously improve standard operating procedures used by the SOC• Resolve or coordinate the resolution of cyber security events• Work with the client operations staff to perform event handling and incident response• Perform advanced analysis of tier 1 and tier 2 monitoring and alerting conclusions alongside senior client operations staff• Create additional training and documentation for the SOC operations• Assist in the development and performance of quality control checks for SOC operations• Assist in the development and performance of operational metrics for SOC operations• Work with the client staff to address adhoc taskings as they arise• Analyze the performance of the team through metrics and reporting• Participate in root cause analysis or lessons learned sessions• Interact with other stakeholders in the House community for troubleshooting/content development/etc. This interaction could include other members of CyberSecurity, the networking team, systems administrators, technology support partners, etc.Skills & Requirements QualificationsNOTES:
