One Family.****PURPOSE STATEMENT****As a Carvel Relief Route Sales Delivery Driver, you will be fully responsible for the direct store delivery of quality products to our supermarket accounts. This route isn't an assigned route as you will be working various routes depending on the need for a particular area. This position was start as early as 4am and will cover Yonkers, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Manhattan and Long Island.This role will be more than 50% travel, including overnight.****KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES****Who we are:Carvel is part of the Richs family of brands. Relief Route Sales Delivery Representatives are full-time positions that are responsible for selling and delivering Carvel & Richs complete line of high-quality frozen goods to existing and new accounts while driving a Carvel Truck.Key goals include safety, sales and credit volume, customer service and in-store merchandising execution.Relief Route Sales Representative's hours of work vary by assigned route. Start times can begin as early as 3:00 am. A typical workday includes 10-15 stops****KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE***** Strong work ethic and a team player who puts the customer first* Minimally 21 years of age* Valid drivers license and a clean driving record we will be checking* Servicing our customers is tough work, and you will need to be able to climb in and out of the truck and carry goods that can weigh up to 50 pounds* High School diploma or GED equivalent* A CDL-B permit is *required* prior to start. The fee will be reimbursed 30 days after you start and that is even better!
