Job description
Duties:- Oversee all aspects of food service operations, including coffee service, the restaurant, banquets, and catering.- Manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and high-quality service.- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of customers.- Monitor food production processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.- Maintain inventory of food and supplies, ordering additional items as needed.- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.- Train new staff members on food service procedures and standards.
Qualifications:- Previous experience in a similar role, such as assistant manager or food service director in a hotel or banquet setting.- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and beverage service.- Familiarity with food production processes and catering operations.- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically.- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service operations.
