Also required to make local deliveries to include unloading materials. Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties. The work loading and unloading is physical, no overnight driving, no weekends.Drives truck to destination providing accurate, timely and courteous serviceCollects signature for goods deliveredCollects payment for goods deliveredMaintains truck log, trip reports, fuel tickets, toll tickets, vehicle condition reports to comply with state and federal regulationsMaintains safe driving record and notifies supervisor of any violationsInspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and waterConducts pre-trip inspections per regulations/policyPositions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transitEnsures proper load stability and balanceHandles properly all monies concerning COD/cash deliveriesAssists in loading of truck and recommendation of delivery schedule as requestedObserves all company safety practices and procedurePresents professional images in appearance and behavior with customers, vendors, and co-workersReports and documents all delivery variancesAssist with warehouse duties as needed which includes:o Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials, move containers or open containerso Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hando Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transito Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areao Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheeto Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containerso Observes all company safety practices and procedureso Loads truck for drivero Stacks of assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles togethero Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, cleans work area, machines, and equipmento Operates forklift or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products; moves levers and presses peals to drive lift and control movement of lifting apparatuso Ensures products are handled in accordance to established standardso Loads, unloads, straightens, and organizes product and warehouseo Controls and accounts for materials in order to minimize loss and damageo Responsible for staging, transporting, shipping, or returning products into and out of the warehouseo Completes cycle counts and some data entryo Utilizes state of the art radio frequency bar code scanning technology software and hardware**Qualifications****Skills****Behaviors****:****Motivations****:****Education****Experience****Licenses & Certifications**
