Key Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Transportation Driver provides resident's transportation to and from appointments and/or activities in a safe and courteous manner at all times.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesComply with the Community's personnel, safety and corporate policies and proceduresComply with the nursing department's policies and proceduresReport witnessed allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Executive DirectorTreat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with dignity and respectMaintain the confidentiality of all resident and family informationReport to work on time and as scheduledSecure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize during transportAssist residents in wheelchairs. Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicleTime management, creating routes that will accommodate appointments and activitiesCommunicate with Executive Director and Nursing Department upon disruption of serviceCleans and services vehicle with fuelReport all vehicle repairs and any unsafe or hazardous concerns immediately to the Executive DirectorPer Executive Director, assisting with CNA or Maintenance duties is expected between appointments/activitiesBe flexible and available for special occasions, holidays and weekendsMust be 'on-call' during scheduled days, if unable to be on-call, a replacement is requiredEssential Job Duties/Physical Requirements

Regular worksite attendanceMust have a CNA license that is in good standings with the StateHigh school diploma or GED requiredMust have basic computer skillsIf required to operate a motor vehicle for business purposes, must successfully complete the requirements contained in Community's Motor Vehicles policyMust be 21 years of age to drive company vehiclesMust be over the age of 25 and under the age of 70 to operate a 15-passenger vehicleMust have a current CDL to operate a 16+ passenger vehicleMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageMust be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessaryMust be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situationsMust be able to perform the essential position functions of the job with, or without reasonable accommodationMust be able to meet the general health requirements set forth by State regulations and Company policy which may include medical and physical examinationsMust be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such a weight a minimum distance of 4 feetMust be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting, and perform other common physical movements as needed for your positionMust be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and hostile people within the CommunityMust be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
