**Delivery Driver****Department:** Transportation **Location:** Ann Arbor, MI**OVERVIEW:** Preferred Produce is a family owned produce distributor delivering fresh produce to our customers daily. We are seeking a full-time customer focused and dynamic delivery driver to add to our ever-growing team! Our delivery drivers play a critical role by promptly and professionally delivering pre-loaded pallets of produce to customers while providing excellent customer service .**WHAT WE OFFER:*** Full Medical, Dental, Vison, Life insurance* 401K with Company match* Starting pay $15 - $18 per hour + Overtime* Ability to earn up to $1,000 per week or more!**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Perform DOT daily pre and post trip inspection of equipment to ensure safe delivery* Use good judgment in evaluating produce quality* Demonstrate attention to detail for accuracy in every delivery* Use hand cart to unload products off truck and into customer specified areas* Collaborate with the team to solve any problems that arise* Perform other warehouse duties as needed**QUALIFICATIONS:*** Ability to communicate clearly and effectively* Customer service experience* Active chauffers license* Delivery experience is a plus* *Repetitive bending and lifting from 40 to 70 pounds is required** The ability to repetitively move on and off equipment is necessary
