**Delivery Driver-FL**2820BRTransportationRegularJob Description**Summary**: Delivery of merchandise to Customers within expected time parameters.**Essential Functions:**-Deliver merchandise according to the pre-determined route.-Unload correct merchandise and check order, note any corrections.-Complete all assigned reports and paperwork at the end of the day. Communicate with Manager any system or documentation problem identified;-Pick-up returned merchandise, per return authorization. Complies with all DOT regulations;-Performs safety and housekeeping duties as pertains to Edward Don & Company and OSHA as assigned.-Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing to customers and all levels of staff.External Qualifications**Required minimum knowledge, skills, education/training, experience, and physical obligations:**High School diploma or GED equivalent is requiredMinimum of 1-year Commercial Driving experienceMust maintain a current DOT required Medical Certification at all timesAbility to bend, stoop, climb, twist, stand, and lift between 60-100 lbs while loading and unloading the delivery truck at each stop (15-30 stops per day)Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of timeMust have a minimum of a Class B CDL with a good driving recordAbility to maintain a good driving record while employedAbility to comply with all DOT regulations as required**Preferred minimum knowledge, skills, education/training, experience, and physical obligations:**Class A CDL is preferredMulti-stop delivery experience preferredCityMiramarState/ProvinceFloridaZip Code33025FLSANon-ExemptCompany OverviewOwned and operated by the Don family since 1921, Edward Don & Company is the world's leading distributor of foodservice equipment and supplies.
