The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance and support to both internal and external customers through the performance of a variety of warehouse and delivery duties. A clean driving record and the ability to drive safely in all conditions are required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Load and unload customer orders and freight trucks.* Put away stock in the warehouse, and pull will-call orders for customer pick-up.* Receive in daily rush orders and weekly Corporate orders.* Maintain bin locations.* Process ship-outs that need to go from the branch.* Process all warranty and returns and verify that paperwork has been neatly and properly filled out.* Order and return compressed gas tanks as needed.* Clean and straighten warehouse daily.* Assist with counter/phone sales and calling customers to inform them of any backorders that are ready for pick-up on an as-needed basis.* Attend ongoing training classes.* Deliver customer orders to various locations via company vehicle.* Work well as a team player.* Work on special projects as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCETo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
