** Hot Shot Driver****Job Category****:** Operations **Requisition Number****:** HOTSH001209 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description****SUMMARY**The Hot Shot Driver is responsible for transporting equipment and material throughout and between job sites.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures* Operates company vehicle in a safe manner and compliant to all State and Federal DOT standards and regulations* Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition* Perform hot shots and job-related driving duties as assigned* Assist crew members and engineer on site to conduct wireline operations safely and efficiently* Keep track of and perform maintenance on equipment and tools in the field* Assist Shop Foreman and Mechanics as needed* Use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times* Ensure compliance with DOT and HazMat transport* Other duties and projects as assigned**REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE*** High school diploma or GED equivalent* Valid Class A or B Commercial Drivers License with HazMat endorsement* Previous experience with transporting equipment and materials* Previous experience in the energy services industry preferred* Ability to meet all DOT and ATF requirements* Must pass a drug screening and background check* Must be flexible to meet scheduling requirements* Must be able to travel and cross state lines* Must be able to proficiently couple, drive, back and un-couple trailers* Must be able to use Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)* Must have the ability to effectively operate a variety of vehicles (i.e. 10 speed, 8 speed manual transmissions) safely and work reliably both independently and in a team setting**COMPUTER*** Basic Knowledge of MS Office Preferred**PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS**Must complete and pass all required pre-employment screenings.**Qualifications****Skills****Behaviors****:****Motivations****:****Education****Experience****Licenses & Certifications**
