Driver, Fuel Operations in Des Moines, IA at REG Location ***Location:****Experience:**Not Specified **Job Description****Its fun to work in a team that is advancing the sustainable future of the fuel industry!***We're committed to working by our values of driving results the REG way with collaboration, innovation, dedication, passion and effectiveness.*****POSITION PURPOSE:******The purpose of this job is to be responsible for driving a straight truck - tandem axle tank wagon to customer locations, loading and unloading bulk fuels, and completing assigned paperwork. There is exposure to dust, fumes, and high noise levels. Required to drive occasionally in hazardous conditions, including adverse weather, tight quarters, and rough roads. Mandatory compliance with all DOT, HAZMAT, Company policies, procedures and practices.******ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:******Key Accountability****Safely loads truck properly with correct fuel type and quantity for each customers needs.****Delivers products in correct quantities and time.****Completes documentation consisting of Bills of Lading, Meter Tickets, (BOL), and Inventory.****Performs general light maintenance on truck, including but not limited to: checking oil, fuel, tire air pressure, brakes, lights etc. Keeps truck and cab clean.****Completes Pre and Post Trip vehicle inspections, including spill kit, fire extinguisher, and truck permit paperwork are on/in the truck. Maintain accurate log book.****Provides friendly, courteous, and professional service to customers at all times.****Keeps dispatch/supervisor informed of any potential customer issues, complaints, spills, leaks, incidents, accidents, violations, citations or injuries or vehicle problems.****Notifies supervisor/dispatch in advance, of any absence, late arrivals or early departures.****Performs maintenance on rental tanks and utility trailers as necessary****Perform other duties as assigned******JOB QUALIFICATIONS:********Education Required**: High School Diploma or Equivalent******Experience Required**: 2-5 years******Licenses or Certifications Needed:******Class A or B CDL, with HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements****Current Medical Certificate**REG is committed to creating a diverse environment and is an equal opportunity employer.
