** The Erosion Company**** Driver**Myrtle Beach, SC 29577**The Erosion Company (TEC)** is currently hiring **Drivers**. TEC is the largest and most experienced contractor in providing comprehensive erosion control services, specialty materials, forestry, and other site clean-up services to clients throughout the Southeast. TEC offers excellent pay based on experience and great long-term career potential for top performers! **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*** Drive a company vehicle with a 2-3 person crew.* Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture among crew members.* Load and unload materials as needed.* Remove, fill, compact, and prepare the terrain.* Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using a variety of hand tools.* Perform site clean-up and reload leftover materials after the job assignment is complete.**Required Qualifications:*** Must be at least 21 years old.* Must have a valid drivers license and three years verifiable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)* Must pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen.* Ability to understand/follow directions and take instructions in English.* Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift to 50 lbs.* Work under inclement weather conditions such as rain, heat, and cold.* Must have prior work experience as a driver.* Must have prior experience in operating small machinery such as Bobcat and other excavating equipment.* Prior experience driving or ton trucks, with a 20+ foot trailer attached, fully loaded.* Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) a plus.**Work is available immediately for qualified candidates!****Overtime is available during peak season.****Health Insurance and 401k plans are available.****This organization participates in E-Verify / Equal Opportunity Employer.**
