We believe in you and the value you bring to our company.*** **Location: Denver, CO*** **Travel: 80-100% travel in domestic 48 states*** **Work Schedule: Must be available to work in the field on assignment for 28 consecutive days; Must be able to work extended hours/weekend, plus overnight stays are necessary*** **Equipment: Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet. Most vehicles are equipped with driver-friendly technology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology and GPS navigation****The primary function of this job is to safely deliver liquid nitrogen to assigned customer locations. Communicate daily with the district manager and field supervisor to ensure customer service levels and efficiency of operations. Embody the Airgas Nitrogen Services safety culture and adherence to DOT rules and regulations.*** **Performs pre and post trip inspections on truck according to DOT and company maintenance checklist*** **Complies with all company policies, safety policies and procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements*** **Completes all company, state and federal required training including Smith Safe, Cone and G.O.A.L. programs*** **Maintains truck cleanliness and performs general maintenance on equipment as needed.*** **Willing to drive company vehicles to national field locations, operate equipment in all types of weather conditions, and adhere to a schedule determined by client demand*** **Maintain required DOT, Federal, State and company records including handwritten logs or digital logs, hours of service, payroll hours, vehicle inspections, job and maintenance reports, service tickets, and shipping manifests according to state and federal DOT regulations*** **Maintain appropriate drivers license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements*** **One year of tractor-trailer driving experience within the last four years*** **Bulk tanker experience preferred*** **High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred*** **Must be able to safely operate a forklift, pickup truck/company car and tractor trailer*** **Basic knowledge of cryogenic pumps, tanks, transports, hydraulic equipment and diesel engines preferred*** **Knowledge of industrial gases desired****CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:**** Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License with tanker endorsements**** Must obtain a Hazmat Endorsement and TWIC card within 90 days of hire date****About Airgas****Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products; one of the largest U.S. suppliers of safety products.****Through the passion and diversity of its 18,000 associates, Airgas fosters a culture of safety, customer success, sustainability and innovation.
