Essential Duties:Able to operate tanker truck safely through various types of terrainFunction "on-call" in order to respond to emergency call-outsWillingness to work day shift or night shift as neededMaintain accurate work tickets based on the TETRA's requirementsAn understanding of basic maintenance concepts is requiredThis position requires various types and levels of job related training with respect to the operation of the equipment, TETRA's Procedures and other specialized training as required by regulatory agencies and TETRAPerforms and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisorAdheres to TETRA's policies and work requirementsRequirements:

EDUCATION : High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)EXPERIENCE : 3-5 years' experience, 2+ Years of Verifiable Commercial Driving Experience, 2+ Years Verifiable Hazmat Experience, 2+ Years driving in an oilfield environmentLICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS : Class A CDL Driver's License, Valid DOT Medical Card, Hazmat endorsement required on license, Tanker endorsement indicated on licenseTRAVEL:

20% depending on job siteOTHER : Willing to work up to 70 hours per week, Knowledge of placarding trailers and/or trucks, Knowledge of Hazardous materials rules on labeling, transporting, and loading, etc.

While performing the duties of any field-based position, an employee may be exposed to various outside weather conditions including but not limited to rain, humidity, snow, and/or heat during daytime hours and/or nighttime hours. The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to loud for extended periods of time.

A driver spends up to 11 hours each day sitting behind a steering wheel. Drivers spend long periods of time away from their homes and families. They are required to work at night, on the weekends and on holidays at times.

May involve exposure to varying environmental conditions. This may include chemicals, gases, cold/heat, noise, dampness, dust, fumes, radiation and heights.
