Position Summary:Reporting to the CRO, the Senior Sales Director – Channels and Development Accounts is responsible for overseeing, managing, developing and growing sales activities through the dealer network for identified markets/customers. This includes managing existing channels and developing/onboarding new dealer partners. The Senior Sales Director – Channels and Development Accounts will develop and drive consistent pricing strategy and models to support growth through the dealer network.The Senior Sales Director – Channels and Development Accounts will also be responsible for developing sales and marketing programs through new and existing channels. This a leadership position responsible for leading the strategic direction in order to meet the revenue and profit goals as well as the long-term strategic positioning.Effective communication and teaming with customers, internal stakeholders and associates is essential. This role will own the complete strategy and execution to ensure our dealer network and end customers are delighted.Candidates can work a hybrid schedule and are preferred to be near one of our locations:Madison, WIEastanollee, GAEleanor, WVHitchcock, TXEssential Functions/ResponsibilitiesBusiness Strategy:Partner with sales and service to develop and execute our channel strategy to ensure maximum coverage of all our offerings.Drive the strategy and marketing plans through a thorough understanding of Trachte’s value proposition, served market segments, adjacent market segments, and growth potential for sales through the dealer networkImplement strategic pricing initiatives to maximize the return from our offerings by linking pricing to market and dealer value.Communicating highly valuable information back to the Parkline/Trachte about local market conditions, including opportunities and threats including changes to a partner’s business strategy that requires a coordinated responseDeveloping and implementing new programs to drive sales within a dealer or across multiple dealersCoordinate with other sales channels to avoid any potential conflictsProactively lead the dealer planning processes that develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.Performance, Metrics & Reporting:Assess, clarify and validate partner needs and performances at regular intervals and maintain a high partner satisfaction rateProactively recruit, evaluate, qualify and onboard new dealersPartner with sales and finance to develop a pricing strategy that is consistent with Trachte’s value proposition and achieves our profit growth objectivesParticipation in the annual budget process by creating market forecasts and tracking our progress against key metrics for the dealer network e.g. pricing, new market expansion, and new product sales.Act as a bridge for communication between the dealers and the engineering team.Develop and implement consistent contractual agreements across the networkRequirementsBS Business Administration, Marketing or EngineeringMBA desirableMinimum of 10 years experience with 5 years channel management experience in custom engineered solutions for industrial or utility marketsStrong presentation and influencing skills both internal and externalStrong written and oral communication skillsProficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and database applicationsA demonstrated ability to work in a self directed and independent manner, prioritizing work appropriately.A demonstrated ability to work effectively in an influential management role.Travel up to 50% required
