We are supporting a leading biotechnology company in rare disease and neurology development as they continue to expand their already healthy pipeline. This organization are at a pivotal stage of growth and already have one product on the market as well as an exciting pipeline of products.
With the drug already launched you will work closely with the VP and CMO to support the medical affairs plans whilst also leading the development and execution of global strategy. You will be expected to take lead on their already launched Parkinsons product whilst also working on additional pipeline products.
Responsibilities:
Support the team with your scientific and medical expertise and develop strategic plans
Support cross functional teams and provide assistance on the phase 4 study plans
Contribute to discussions with cross functional team members including the clinical development group and Pharmacovigilance group
Design the medical plan and tactics in collaboration with cross functional teams
Leading in the Parkinsons disorder space, you will be a key point of contact in the business for medical queries
Exchange scientific and medical information with Key HCPs
Build and maintain relationship with a large KOL network
Ensure that the development plan is accurate to the development and MA perspectives
Requirements:
MD with a background in Neurology or Psychiatry
Minimum 7 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry
High degree of scientific knowledge in Medical Affairs & Neurology
Leadership expertise with the ability to work cross functionally
Ability to communicate and respond to data queries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively present ideas
Able to use and implement strategy
Remuneration:
The successful candidate will receive an executive level basic salary with a benefits package to include the likes of a bonus scheme, stock options, long term incentives, medical benefits and more
