is looking for an experienced

Sales Executive

(SE) with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a proven track record of developing and closing new PBM opportunities. We are seeking a SE with advanced consultative selling and negotiation skills with the aptitude to listen and probe for customers' unmet needs, identify opportunities, challenge the status quo, and successfully construct and communicate solutions.

Ideally, the SE exceeds new PBM business sales goals by executing effective channel selling strategies to generate opportunities through targeted approaches and coordinated cross-selling. The SE leverages personal and professional networks with brokers, TPAs, consultants, and coalitions, (They will also work closely with business partners and internal teams to ensure an organized, holistic, and customer-focused strategy that expands company relationships and services offerings. The ideal candidate is resilient, self-motivated, persuasive, and knowledgeable about PBM products and services. This is a remote position, focused on candidates located in the central U.S.

What You'll Do:

As the Sales Executive, you will be:Leading end-to-end new business development efforts for the assigned territory, including but not limited to: prospecting and qualified lead generation, proposal evaluation and vetting; utilization of marketing assets to ensure brand adherence, quality, completeness, and timeliness; pricing negotiations; and finalist preparation, strategy, and coordination.Engaging and partnering with brokers, consultants, TPAs, captive, and coalition groups to gain proposal opportunities and achieve sales targets consistent with annual and long-term corporate business objectives.Maintaining knowledge of Company products and services and identify opportunities for product development or expansion.Developing and managing organized and effective processes in the areas of business plan development and execution, pipeline management, timely encounter documentation, and meeting preparedness.Increasing Company's visibility in target industry sectors and markets through networking, organization membership, presentation delivery, trade show exhibiting, entertainment, and participation in other relevant events, conferences, and campaigns.Gathering intelligence on emerging market and industry trends; monitoring competitor activity; presenting recommendations to senior leadership to position the company for increased effectiveness in winning new business.Creating and fostering a business development culture that embraces a strategic, proactive, and customer-centric approach, including identifying, actively pursuing, and closing new business opportunities.Assisting account team with ensuring renewal of key accounts, promoting new products, upselling, and conveying trend story/ROI/value proposition.Completing other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business or related degree or equivalent experience.Minimum of three years proven success in prospecting and closing PBM new business sales and consistently exceeding sales goal. Supplemental experience in health benefits channel sales, account management, managed care, and/or health insurance will be additional considerations.Minimum of two years of successfully closing PBM sales and established relationships with middle market brokers, consultants, TPAs, captives, and/or coalition groups strongly preferred. Channel sales experience for TPAs, Brokers, or Captives working in the self-insured small/mid-market space will also be considered. Strong relationships in central states of the U.S. highly preferred, with Dallas, TX an ideal location.Proven experience with measurable results in new business development, pipeline management, relationship management, and providing an exceptional customer experience required.Maintain a valid driver's license and personal insurance liability coverage.Competencies:

Excellent prospecting skills and a proven track record of developing opportunities; ability to prioritize and anticipate next steps in the sales process through the entirety of the selling cycle, and closing business in a highly competitive market.Advanced consultative selling and negotiation skills with the aptitude to: listen and probe for customers' unmet needs; identify issues/opportunities; challenge the status quo; and successfully construct and communicate solutions in a professional manner.Understands employer healthcare benefits, self-insuring concepts, and common pharmaceutical and PBM-related terminology.Excellent relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate with peers, managers, and executives.Detail-oriented, self-motivated, self-directed problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of urgency; ability to effectively work independently from a home office setting.Effective in planning and preparation to ensure success. Embraces consistent and timely documentation of activity in a CRM system.Success in new business sales positions with salary plus commission as compensation.Excellent communication skills through all modern mechanisms, including phone, video, chat, written, and slide deck presentations.Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional, LinkedIn, and CRM systems.
