Nexstar is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Business Analyst for the Network Segment with primary focus on The Hill business unit. The Business Analyst will plan, direct, and coordinate services of the business including accounts payable, general ledger activities and payroll.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle monthly balance sheet reconciliations via Blackline softwareAssist in the preparation of monthly journal entriesHandle accounts payable including invoice entry and approval trackingManage employee, union, and vendor contractsPrepare and submit monthly purchase card reports to corporate officeLiaise with Senior Leadership and Corporate staffAdminister all bi-weekly payroll activities for ~ 140 employeesRequirements & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree preferred3-5 years of experience in accounts receivableExcellent critical thinking, creative problem solving, and organization skillsConfident and assertive when providing coaching, guidance, or directionAbout The Hill
