Delta College is looking for an adjunct instructor for the Surgical Technology program. Adjunct instructor will be responsible for teaching in-person section(s) at main campus and/or virtually.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:Understanding of and ability to work with a diverse student populationUse of email, internet-based resources, and common Office softwareAbility to teach in a variety of formats, including incorporating online learning systemsUnderstanding of ADA requirements and willingness to create accessible materialsEffective interpersonal skillsUnderstanding Delta Mission/Vision/ValuesRequired Qualifications
Associate degree in Surgical TechnologyHealth-related Bachelor degreeGraduate of an education program in surgical technology that is also accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency.Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the NBSASTBLS certification (current or upon hire)Minimum total of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five yearsAdditional Experiences Considered
Teaching experience in a Surgical Technology Program preferred.
