L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a

Senior Project Manager.

You'll lead multiple, concurrent development programs through proposal, funding, development, qualification and volume production for our client in the Aerospace industry based in Parsippany, NJ.

Initiating activity within client site to satisfy customer contract scope/statement of workProactively drive achievement of major milestones and high customer satisfactionUsing industry experience to recognize and preemptively address technical, cost, and schedule risksAct as primary point of contact for assigned customersCreation and release of project Work Breakdown Structure with approved budgetsCreation and maintenance of project Integrated Master ScheduleFacilitating IPD Process compliance by completing required Initiating Activities, Design Reviews, and Gate Review requirements.Facilitate internal and customer weekly team meetings/telecons with documentation of minutes and maintenance of Action Item ListsCreate Monthly Program Review materials for assigned projects and presenting to Executive LeadershipProvide Program Management support of new business proposals; create PM deliverables to the management volumeManage Bids for new, or follow-on, business proposalsAchievement of NRE Cost, Design to Cost, and Schedule performance against budget for assigned projectsReview and creation of material and/or labor plans and cost reportsResolution and coordination of project cost, schedule, and technical performance issuesMonitor and control of project scopeEscalation of issues or risks that cannot be resolved at the project team levelMaintain high customer satisfaction for assigned projectsIdentifying opportunities to grow business content with associated projects and customersSupporting significant proposals with related PMO inputsInitiating and scrubbing proposal Bases of Estimates and SchedulesAbide by all safety, quality, and company policies/procedures to ensure compliance to various regulatory and internal system requirementsJob Requirements

Details:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required4- 7 years of program management experiencePMP certification preferredExperience working within aerospace or a similar technical field preferredExperience with Additive Manufacturing technologies is a plusHighly analytical and detail-orientedAdvanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project expertiseEffective verbal and written communication skillsIntimate knowledge of people management skills, particularly influence management and conflict resolutionGeneral knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systemsExemplary verbal/written communication skills required for multifaceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization, as well as any and all outside agents, including but not limited to; vendors, suppliers, customers, etc.Strong attention to detail and follow-up
