Overview
PROGRAM MANAGER - TECHNICAL (ITP):
Bowhead is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager - Technical to manage a large and complex IT program in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia region. This is a fast paced job managing subject matter experts and IT professionals advising executive level personnel on financial, technical, and other high-level policy areas.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project typically consisting of a set of closely related subprograms or associated activitiesOversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the programHave an understanding and experience with large complex IT projects and organizationsOther duties as assignedQualifications
Education: Master's Degree or EquivalentYears of experience: 10+Required skills or certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP)Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contactsStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a teamPhysical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 25 poundsMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
