As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for executing strategy and reporting assignments for Fortune 500 clients and managing and developing team members whose delivery focus areas will include ESG strategy, advisory, program management, reporting and disclosure. You will be responsible for resource allocation, high-level problem solving, regular feedback and coaching related to professional and technical capabilities. We’ll expect you to act decisively and think big. Most importantly, you’ll be able to contribute to a diverse, supportive, and talented team.Solution Development / Client Engagement / SalesThe Senior Project Manager, Sustainability will be responsible for effective solution development related to proposed scopes of work for potential clients. Leveraging the vast catalog of capabilities from JLL’s global sustainability consulting platform, you will be responsible for engaging current and prospective clients in developing tailored strategy and advisory scopes which meet our clients’ needs and our team’s current and developing capabilities.Project Delivery OversightThe Senior Project Manager, Sustainability will act as oversight for select strategy, advisory and program management engagements. You will be ultimately responsible for project resourcing, escalations, as well as ensuring quality control of client facing deliverables and client relationship management. It will be the responsibility of you and your team members to be leading the delivery of project engagements. Client base is a mix of corporate occupiers and investors.Internal & External EngagementYou will be a primary point of contact for engaging internal and external stakeholders on ESG strategy, advisory and program management. You will be responsible for coordinating engagement with internal JLL business units across account management, property management, brokerage and global sustainability. You will also collaborate with the North American ESG Advisory Practice to incorporate established best practices, tools, emerging capabilities to engage the broader platform.Preferred Candidate QualificationsEducation and experienceMinimum 8 years’ experience in real estate sustainability, decarbonization/energy efficiency, ESG strategy/consulting, ESG program management and/or ESG disclosureBA/BS degree in environmental science, engineering, real estate, finance, accounting, business, or related field preferredExperience with the followingGRESB, CDP, GRI, TCFD, SASB including climate risk strategies suitable for application to both corporate occupiers and investor clients to align with industry standardsGreen House Gas (GHG) Protocol, including data collection, calculations, and baselining for Scopes 1, 2 and 3 emissionsStrategy assignments including ESG roadmap development, reporting framework gap analysis, portfolio analysis for cost reductions, communications strategy and ESG policy review and creationFinancial calculations to support client decision making for sustainability focused projects including IRR, NOI, payback, asset valueESG regulations in North America and EMEAExperience with the following a plusENERGY STAR, Building HVAC Systems, International Living Futures Institute, Net Zero Carbon, Passive House, Zero WasteCEM, CxA, PE, LEED AP, WELL AP and/or Fitwel Ambassador3+ years of people managementMaster’s degree in strategy, business, sustainability management or real estateDemonstrate experience in presentation delivery, business development, proposal/solution development, sales and client engagementProvide clients with solutions to reduce risk associated local, regional, and global regulations that affect the built environmentPossess strong analytical and creative problem-solving skillsHave excellent oral and written communication skills
