We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing projects from concept to production, ensuring the seamless integration of mechanical designs for vessels and piping systems. The ideal candidate possesses proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD, along with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Solidworks and AutoCAD Proficiency: Utilize Solidworks and AutoCAD to create detailed engineering drawings, PFDs, P&IDs, General Arrangement drawings, and piping systems. Project Management: Manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from concept development to production, ensuring adherence to deadlines and project goals. Engineering Drawings: Read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, PFDs, P&IDs, and other technical documents with a strong attention to detail. Design Development: Collaborate with process engineers to develop complete mechanical designs for vessels and piping systems, facilitating subsequent modeling and drafting by design engineers. P&ID Interpretation: Interpret and modify P&IDs, conducting component selection for piping and vessel systems based on P&ID and customer specifications. Material Take Off (MTO): Perform Material Take Offs from customer-supplied or internally created models and drawings. Proposal Support: Assist in proposal development and provide support for projects, working within tight deadlines. Revision and Refinement: Refine and revise process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and design drawings as required. Valve and Instrument Development: Develop valve and instrument lists based on PFD and P&ID. Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with the Supply Chain team for the specification and procurement of long lead time items. Proactive Problem Mitigation: Anticipate and proactively address problems, issues, and risks associated with project execution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Mechanical Engineering degree preferred but not required. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information. Code and Standards Application: Ability to apply industry codes and standards (ASME, B31.3 piping, AWS, API, ASTM, NACE, OSHA, etc.) effectively. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of piping and pipe schedules, flanges, fittings, valves, and instruments used in oilfield production equipment. Design Standards: Familiarity with industry ASME and API design standards. Oilfield Experience: Prior experience in oilfield surface production equipment, particularly with skidded packaged systems, is a plus.
Pay Rate:
$43/hr. - $48/hr.
Shift and Hours:
Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
