This inclusive employer is a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community.DescriptionThe Amazon Canada Product & Tech organization is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the French Customer Experience Team (FRCX). The FRCX product team works across the customer journey to improve the CX for Canada's millions of French-language customers, a key component of Amazon Canada's long-term strategy. This Sr. PM role will be responsible for envisioning, designing, and delivering a suite of products and programs aimed at improving CX for products delivered at home. To achieve the long-term vision, the Sr. PM will work on language detection capabilities, user interfaces, packaging innovation with tie-ins to sustainability, and the latest in translation technologies. As a key component of Canada's strategy, this role has high visibility with regular interaction with senior leadership.Candidates for this role have a track record of moving seamlessly between defining an ambitious, customer-centric, north star vision and working tactically to test, iterate, and deliver the right solutions. They ground their product vision in research, experimentation, and data analysis. They have strong business acumen, analytical skills, and comfort working with large, complex data sets. They are persistent in seeking answers to hard problems and developing multifaceted solutions. They balance being scrappy and frugal with maintaining highest standards and scalability.As Senior Product Manager, you thrive in an entrepreneurial, highly ambiguous, and cross-functional environment. You possess a successful product management and business strategy background. You have experience in developing collaborative relationships and influencing individuals and teams. You place the customer at the center of your product strategy, and leverage data-driven analyses and insights to make decisions. This role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, high judgment, and deep curiosity about how things work.Key job responsibilitiesLead the development of a visionary project north star, multi-year strategy, and detailed project roadmapDeliver and prioritize product requirements, working backwards from the customerEstablish customer feedback loops to synthesize feedback and consolidate feature requests, providing specific requirements to engineering and driving follow-up actions and communicationsMake trade-off decisions with the tech team regarding features and priorities within the roadmap based on overall relative impact and speed to marketManage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planningCollaborate with business teams, legal, public policy, and public relations teams to assess and advise on high judgment investment decisionsWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Seattle, WA, USABasic Qualifications5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experienceBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insightsExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience working across functional teams and senior stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree or equivalentExperience as a product manager or ownerExperience owning technology productsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
