As a Senior Backend Engineer, your role is pivotal in ensuring the reliable, secure, and scalable delivery of our platform. You'll be instrumental in architecting low-latency, real-time microservices tailored to process and detect sensitive data at scale.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to discern customer needs and devise innovative solutions to address them.Lead the design of new features and oversee their seamless transition into production.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation covering both internal and public services.Implement best practices within a dynamic engineering environment, leveraging tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, and CircleCI.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical development experience.Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, node.js, python, C++, Java, or related ones.Demonstrated experience in developing complex software systems capable of scaling to substantial data volumes or serving millions of users, with a focus on deployment, monitoring, and reliability.Experience in designing and constructing systems within a microservices-based architecture.Ability to deconstruct complex business problems and lead a team in resolving them.A solid understanding of multi-threaded programming, concurrency primitives, and data structures.A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
