You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.Job Responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.Guides and assists others in the areas of building appropriate level designs and gaining consensus from peers where appropriate.Collaborates with other software engineers and teams to design and implement deployment approaches using automated continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.Collaborates with other software engineers and teams to design, develop, test, and implement availability, reliability, scalability, and solutions in their applications.Implements infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for the applications and platforms in your remit.Collaborates with technical experts, key stakeholders, and team members to resolve complex problems.Understands service level indicators and utilizes service level objectives to proactively resolve issues before they impact customers.Supports the adoption of site reliability engineering best practices within your team.Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.Proficient knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a given technical discipline (e.g., Cloud, Kubernetes, Telemetry, etc.).Experience in observability such as white and black box monitoring, service level objective alerting, and telemetry collection using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Splunk, and others.Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform.Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.Familiarity with container and container orchestration such as ECS, Kubernetes.Familiarity with troubleshooting common networking technologies and issues.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Understanding of architecture and design across heterogeneous systems.Experience in engineering solutions for metrics gathering/publishing and event collection/correlation across distributed architectures, automation, monitoring, intelligent alerting, random fault injection (Chaos Engineering), and self-healing.AWS Certifications and hands-on experience with AWS and related tools like RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, EKS, MSK, Cloud Watch will be an added advantage.Proficient in site reliability culture and principles and familiarity with how to implement site reliability within an application or platform.Exposure to cloud technologies.
