Class A Yard Driver

Dominos started back in 1960 as a single-store location in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Over the years, we expanded to three stores, and thus came the three dots on our logo. The original plan was to keep adding dots for every store, and at over 17,000 stores worldwide (6,300 in the U.S.) you can probably figure out why that original plan didnt work.**Job Details**Reposition company commercial tractors and trailers on designated non-highway areas [the yard] to include backing trailers to dock doors. May be required to shuttle tractor/trailer to and from logistic/lease companies if CDL qualified.**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES****(70%) Moving and Operation of Tractor/Trailer**Walk the yard to identify and document [in the DVCR booklet] vehicle defects. Communicate maintenance needs to D&S Team Leaders [Daily]Obtain tractor/trailer list from D&S, record odometer, hub readings and engine hours from equipment and send to lease company [Weekly]Ensure trailers loaded with refrigerated product, i.e., cheese, chicken, etc. are at adequate temperatureEnsure Warehouse Team Members have trailers to unload and/or loadAssist with the unloading of trailers when necessaryReposition tractor/trailers on the yard to and from docksComply with Dominos Chock, Safety Cone and Dock Signal Light policyShuttle tractor/trailers to and from logistic supplier [if CDL qualified]Take trailers to be washed and cleaned [if CDL qualified]Assist with backhauls [if CDL qualified]May be assigned to assist Drivers on a designated route(s) to unload product to Domino's storesListen to and timely assist management and DriversRequired to always wear and follow Dominos uniform standardsAttend scheduled safety, team meetings and training sessions**(30%) Complete Necessary Paperwork**Maintain DVCR bookletsComply with DOT log regulationsAccountable for the vehicle and productClock in and out in time keeping and People Net system**Qualifications*** High School Diploma or GED* Must be at least 21 years of age* 6 months of verifiable driving experience or proof of 25,000 miles of CMV driving experience* Must have and maintain a valid class A Commercial Drivers License with appropriate endorsements* Must meet the defined MVR standards at all times to remain qualified to drive company commercial motor vehicle* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., frequently perform heavy pushing/pulling of product and work in refrigerated conditions**Additional Information****What to expect from Domino's:*** Competitive starting wages* Paid holidays and vacations* Health, Dental and Vision-Starting day 1 of employment* Company paid short term disability coverage* Company paid Life Insurance* 401k with company match after 6 full months of employment* Professional and supportive management* 15% Discounted share purchases
