The Impact You’ll Make

As a Technical Sourcer (Fixed Term Contract), you’ll partner closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Senior Leadership to scale our Product Development hiring. You will be a critical partner in building the growth and candidate engagement strategies that help us assemble and extend a world class team. You will: 

• Work closely and cross-functionally with hiring managers and recruiters to assess recruiting needs, and understand job requirements
• Build pipelines of qualified, high-caliber candidates using creative sourcing strategies
• Strategize and evaluate a variety of ways to engage talent pipelines and execute on referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns
• Utilize a data-driven approach to analyze, track, and communicate key hiring metrics to the team and the business
• Source candidates and evaluate their experience, qualifications, and general alignment with employment opportunities at Nextdoor
• Deliver a great candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
• Track candidates through our ATS (Greenhouse) and leverage reporting capabilities to refine our approach to pipeline development
• Effectively communicate the Nextdoor mission, culture, and roadmap to a broad range of candidates, prospects and industry professionals

What You’ll Bring To The Team

• 3+ years of technical sourcing background supporting roles including but not limited to Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Product Management, Design & Research
• Strong interpersonal skills and great at building relationships with different types of stakeholders
• Passion for the Nextdoor’s mission and company values 
• Efficiency and data-driven mindset: learns quickly, have the ability to triage pipeline data to uncover trends, and be able to pivot sourcing strategies as needed
• Leads by example: inclusive, collaborative, self-directed, and highly motivated with a sense of urgency, and has strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills: written, oral, in-person, and on the phone
• Strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.

The starting salary for this Fixed Term Contract role is expected to range from $120,000 to $140,000 on an annualized basis. Compensation may also vary by geography. Duration of the contract is expected to go until December 31st, 2024.

Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. Nextdoor Fixed Term Contract employees can choose between a variety of great health plans.
