Computer Numerical Control Programmer (2nd Shift)

This is a second shift job.NO HEADHUNTERS/RECRUITERS/STAFFING AGENCIES.CNC Programmer will create and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, Esprit and G-code, as well as, accomplishing process improvements, machining optimization and CNC program proofing. Will also design fixturing, analyze and solve machining problems, as well as being the team lead for the 2nd shift of CNC MachinistsSkills and duties required or preferredMastercam experience requiredEsprit experience preferredCan setup and operate all equipment in machine shopKnowledgeable of all CNC equipment in machine shopExperience with Haas CNC's (Lathe and Mill)Familiar with Fanuc controlsMulti-axis CNC lathe, CNC Horizontal Mill and CNC Vertical mill experience preferred, must have strong CNC latheKnowledge of G-code programming requiredExperience with API threadingKnows how to use inspection equipment/toolsAble to trouble shoot machining problemsAbility to read blue prints and drawingsUnderstands cutting tool geometry and applicationAdvise process improvements for efficiency, tool life and quality, and help implementKnowledgeable on fixturing, tool design and setupsKnowledge feeds/speeds vs. tooling and materialsGreat positive attitudeGood organizational skillsGood communicatorWorks well with othersVerbal Communication in EnglishEnglish reading and writing skillsHands-on in the shop type personThis role is a 2nd (night) shift role and receives a shift differential.NO RECRUITERS/STAFFING AGENCIES/HEADHUNTERSUNSOLICITED EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS WILL NOT BE RETURNED.
