As a Senior Technical Project Manager at DCLI, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of complex IT projects. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects. The Senior Technical Project Manager will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including technical teams, business teams, and vendors, to drive the successful implementation of strategic IT initiatives.Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectivesDevelop detailed and comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, and track progress against key milestonesIdentify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on project deliveryCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance, to drive project execution and resolve technical challengesServe as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and addressing concernsFoster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the project team, promoting open communication and knowledge sharingAct as the primary liaison between the DCLI project team and vendors to ensure alignment on requirements, project deliverables, and timelineContinuously assess and improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectivenessServe as an active member on the Capitalized Labor Committee by assisting with business case development and IT project prioritizationPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldProject Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred8+ years professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing technical projects in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on software development or IT infrastructure, from initiation to closureStrong understanding of IT project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, with the ability to adapt approaches based on project requirementsRobust leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goalsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and qualityExperience with project management tools such as Asana and JIRAStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisionsExperience working in the transportation industry is a plusMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.BenefitsWe understand that your role at DCLI is only part of who you are.
