Description
We are searching for an experienced Aircraft Conformity & Inspection Specialist to join our growing team at Silver Air. This role safely manages daily maintenance requirements of the fleet and communicates with internal departments, flight crew, and maintenance vendors. If you are passionate about communication and teamwork, this might be the perfect role for you! What you'll be doing:
Review return to service documentation for accuracy, and conformity to applicable federal regulations and arrange for corrections as necessary before filing in the aircraft permanent records. Arrange for the issuance of MEL, RVSM manuals, and any required LOA. Arrange for the issuance of FCC radio license. Travel to aircraft and perform aircraft physical inspection in accordance with the conformity inspection checklist, log any discrepancies and arrange for their correction (10-20 per month). Perform records conformity research in accordance with established procedures. Assemble conformity binder for FAA records review in accordance with established procedures. Interface with FAA inspectors as assigned.
To do well in this role, you'll need:
High school diploma.
Or equivalent. Corporate aviation experience.
A minimum of 5 years is required. A&P License.
This is highly desired. Part 135 air carrier aircraft conformity and regulatory compliance experience.
This includes:
Evaluation and correction of return to service documentation. Airworthiness Directive and Alert Bulletin management and sign-off requirements. Major repair and alteration documentation. Knowledge of aircraft equipment and airworthiness requirements. RVSM manual submittal and management requirements.
Web-based maintenance tracking programs knowledge.
This is required. Aircraft maintenance documentation knowledge.
These requirements include logbook entries, part certification, and appropriate sign-off language. Communication skills.
Communication (verbal and written) must always be delivered with a superior level of professionalism. High level of detail.
You'll need to be highly organized with the ability to thrive in changing environments and the flexibility for frequently changing priorities. Excellent time management skills.
Being able to work well under pressure and having the ability to multi-task is a crucial component of the role. Strong people skills.
You'll need to be a team player who can provide valued contributions to our business and clients.
