Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Senior Structural Engineering Manager
to join our team! In this position, you will have a lead role in
serving our best clients in the industry to deliver challenging major FDOT transportation-related projects
.
What You'll Be Doing:
Utilize industry experience and knowledge of client to assist with pursuit strategies
Identify key pursuits
Lead pursuit efforts (pre-sale, teaming, proposal, interview, presentations, etc.)
Scope development/refinement
Negotiations
Team (internal/external) collaboration and coordination during project delivery
Management and mentoring of staff
Leading internal/external progress meetings
Management of discipline scope, schedule, and budget
Identification of opportunities for follow-up work
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Experience in delivering final design for Major FDOT projects including FDOT Miscellaneous Structures, Minor Bridge Design, Major Bridge Design, and complex bridge design.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and typically 20+ years of related work experience is required.
Proven ability to perform in a leadership role in the structures discipline.
Strong business acumen and proven experience in management of staff resulting in profitable projects and favorable FDOT grades.
In-depth knowledge of FDOT design procedures, and associated state and federal guidelines/requirements.
State of Florida Professional Engineer registration is required.

Salary Range:
$140,700.00 - $253,300.00
