The Swift Group
is looking for a
DevOps Engineer
to provide engineering and programming support to projects and infrastructure support activities. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of all aspects of migrating hardware to the cloud, operating system updates, and networking resources (cloud and hardware.)Key Responsibilities:Assist application teams with creation and configuration and deployment of systems and platforms.Work with teams to deploy new software and improve existing systemsDesigning, building, testing, and maintaining the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processDefining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operationMonitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastageMay analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.May manage websites including deployment and maintenance activitiesRequired Skills
7+ years of relevant experienceExperience working in Linux, Windows, and/or MacOSScripting experience including at least one of the following: Perl, Python, Java, Ruby Experience working with cloud native technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and/or Serverless cloud technologiesExperience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or ChefExperience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines on cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with configuration and management of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDBHS DiplomaUS citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required at startDesired Skills
Bachelor’s degreeExperience configuring, deploying, and securing Kubernetes and Docker platformsAdditional Details
