Barbaricum is seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the DoD Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) mission. CDAO is responsible for the acceleration of the DoD’s adoption of data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence to generate decision advantage from the boardroom to the battlefield. CDAO is tasked with building a strong foundation for data, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities to be developed and fielded at scale. This position directly supports CDAO’s Chief Technology Officer and will play a key role in advancing CDAO’s AI/ML and data-driven initiativesBarbaricum has been supporting CDAO for more than 3 years, including current support to the T&E Directorate and Resource and Management Office. This position is a new role on a team that will provide SETA support to the CDAO CTO.Responsibilities
Develop prototypes for attribute-based access control systems.Integrate with relevant systems and standards including, but not limited to, Open Policy Agent, XACML, Keycloak, Active Directory, LDAP, and OpenTDF.Write documentation describing how the ABAC prototypes can be adapted and utilized by other CDAO programs.Qualifications
Active DoD Secret Clearance Required.Strong communications skills; you will be required to proactively engage fellow CDAO members both inside and outside of your team.Great technical writing skills.Prior experience implementing single sign-on, enterprise access management, and best practices in web security is preferred.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
