Position Description
Origis Energy is seeking an experienced, technically focused Project Leader to be responsible for the complete execution life cycle of project(s) from Development thru to Operations. The Project Leader will report to the Managing Director of EPC and other departmental leaders to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Management Duties:
EPC budget and cost management
Close engagement/support of internal Finance team
Project schedule management
EPC scope of work development
Project status reporting
Internal management presentations/updates
Engineering Duties:
Drive value engineering efforts
Manage multiple 3rd party consultants/engineers
Procurement Duties:
Major equipment selection evaluations
3rd Party EPC bidding and contracting
Construction Duties:
EPC contract management
Coordinate with construction site teams
Interconnection Utility interface
Drive closeout and turnover coordination with operations
Preferred Qualifications
Strong technical solar background
Large utility scale solar experience ideal
BESS experience ideal
Comprehension of solar cost structure
Experience in EPC contract negotiations and management
Ability to manage multiple projects
Possess a "get it done" mentality
Energy storage experience a plus
Technical or Business degree required
Professional certification (PE, RA, or other) preferred
Location
San Diego CA; Austin TX; Miami FL; remote considered for the right candidate
Travel
Up to 40% travel as needed
