Admission to practice in Illinois and direct experience with an AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC is preferred.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations, and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:3-6 years of experience in the legal field.Admitted to practice in Illinois.Direct and applicable experience with an AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC.Experience with the establishment and representation of private investment funds and advisers.Familiarity with Advisers Act regulatory matters.Experience representing institutional investors in private funds.Knowledge of secondary transactions and structuring carry vehicles.Education & Certifications:Admission to practice in Illinois.Skills:Strong analytical and writing skills.Good business judgment.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
