Full time Attorney Litigation Of Counsel - Washington, DC

Amlaw firm is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. Candidate will possess superior research, analytical, and writing skills, with a science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology). Experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus. The Litigation Of Counsel will be responsible for providing high-quality legal representation, engaging in effective communication with clients and colleagues, and managing various tasks within the litigation process.

Responsibilities For This Position

Experience with pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus.Managing and conducting all aspects of complex litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial.Working closely with clients to develop and implement strategies to resolve their legal disputes.Drafting and arguing pleadings, motions, and briefs.Preparing and presenting witnesses for deposition and trial.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.At least 8 years of experience in private practice or government.Strong litigation skills, including experience with complex discovery, motion practice, and trial.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

J.D. degree from a nationally recognized school.8+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 law firm.State Bar admission.Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experienceScience background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) to be considered.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is advantageous.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
