Job Summary:Assist Pharmacy Technicians in the completion of routine task including medication deliver, medication expiration date inspections, receiver, medication replenishment, cleaning, and retail pharmacy task.
Job Responsibilities:1. Medication DeliveryPerform Batch and Off Batch Production Run DeliveryPerform a Batch Production Run Delivery with Medication CassettesMeds to Beds Delivery from Retail Pharmacy
2. Medication Expiration Date InspectionConduct a Medication Expiration Date Inspection in the Pharmacy Department, Nursing Units, and Ambulatory Care Site
3. Reciever/ Medication ReplenishmentReceipt of purchased medications from Manufacturer and WholesalerReplenishment of medications and supplies to the pharmacy medication storage shelves, Pyxis MedStation ES, and surgical centersRetrieval of medication from Medication Storage Locations during a Pharmaceutical RecallInvestigate and correct Pyxis MedStation ES malfunctions
4. CleaningPerform cleaning medication storage shelves, bins, refrigerators and Pyxis Medstations
5. Retail PharmacyRecieverRegister/CashierPatient TriageAnswer Phone calls"
Education:
Required Education: High School/GEDPreferred Experience: Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy - 1 yearRequired Experience: Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy - 3-6 MonthsLevel 4 Worker
