Job Summary:

Maintain the integrity of the casino's gaming operations through effective CCTV monitoring and investigation of casino's activities on a per-shift basis. Notify Surveillance Shift Managers of non-compliance with regulations, internal controls, and rules of the games as well as when integrity of assets are compromised. Document violations and remedial measures taken. Cooperate with Operations when surveillance coverage is required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Monitors all areas of the property at all times, identifying potential security and /or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity for proper resolution through regular inspectionsEnsure quality observations and investigations in the Surveillance Department on assigned shiftMaintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Virginia Lottery Board, and ensures strict adherence to the same throughout the property.Protects casino assets and gaming integrity through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property, particularly on the gaming floorAssists with directing the flow of surveillance reports to the proper individuals per surveillance management, always maintaining the highest level of confidentialityAbility to work as a team in an effort to develop fellow surveillance team member and the Surveillance DepartmentCreate daily activity reports and prepares necessary reports for managementCoordinates, with the Surveillance Management, when surveillance discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention as appropriateIncorporates information throughout the department, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetingsObserves, documents, records, and reports any unusual or suspicious activities on propertyReviews surveillance videos and reports, providing detailed information to Surveillance Management as neededHeld accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reportsOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years of surveillance experience preferred.Two years of formal schooling or military experience or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred.Ability to learn casino fraudulent crimes, how to detect such crimes, and how to document court admissible evidence of such crimesAbility to learn how to operate an extremely complex CCTV systemAbility to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with various business units within gaming operationsAbility to successfully fulfill the pre-employment background checks as requiredCertifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:

Able to obtain and retain gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
