The
Automotive Detailer
needs to assist the dealership in revamping new and used vehicles to sell to our customers. No experience is needed, you will be working with a great team in accomplishing team goals. A good opportunity to learn a career in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
Cleans and refurbishes new and used vehiclesWashes vehicle using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushesApplies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using a cloth or buffing machineVacuums interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris, using a vacuum cleanerCleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devicesApplies revitalizers and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior componentsCleans engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grimeApplies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of the product manufacturerPaints engine components and related parts, using spray gun or aerosol can and masking materialApplies paint to chipped body surfaces of the vehicle, using a container of touchup paintApplies dyes and reconditioning chemicals to vinyl tops of vehicles to restore color and conditionQualifications:
At least 18 years of agePossess a valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable driving recordBe willing to learn and take directionBe a team player
