Associate Account Manager Program

This two-year training program is designed for recent college graduates and combines formal training with hands-on client experience. We provide a competitive starting salary, developmental training opportunities, classroom learning experiences, and a series of activity requirements. Our training program provides exposure to marketing, servicing, and renewal of Commercial Insurance accounts in the People Solutions or Risk Management practice.

The Associate Account Manager training programs will begin in January and June of 2025. Each individual will have the opportunity to become an Account Manager upon successful completion of the program.

Responsibilities

Participates in negotiations with carriers for new and renewal quotes with oversightCollaborates with senior staff in selecting new markets for submission and requesting quotesHelps review new business opportunity information and provides related recommendations to Unit Manager/Account Executive/ProducerEstablishes and maintains relationships and interfaces with Clients, carriers, and other vendorsReviews quotes, binders, and endorsements and makes requests for changes as neededReceives policy, then updates and completes policy check to ensure completenessUpdates specifications, application, and summary information to reflect changes during the yearInforms Client of any and all changes that may affect insurance premiums or coverageInputs Client information into data management system, ensuring accuracy and completenessGenerates materials for Client presentations and meetingsCreates and sends compliance communications as neededPerforms other responsibilities and duties as neededWhat is Lockton?

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3.3 GPAStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook and Excel)Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills requiredAbility to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessionsAbility to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company informationAbility to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlinesAbility to work outside of normal business hours as neededLegally able to work in the United States
