Responsible for the safe and efficient movement and storage of steel in the warehouseTransport material in the plant as neededLoad and unload all trucks and equipmentVisually inspect coils to ensure customer specifications are metComply with all plant safety rules and guidelinesUtilize overhead crane and forklifts to move materials.Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED is necessary1-3 years in manufacturing industry is preferred. If applicants do not have manufacturing experience, on-the-job training will be offered.Previous machine operation, material handling, production or other warehouse related experience is mandatory.Basic math, measurement, computer skills, and ability to follow directions.NMP employees must be able to repeatedly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift up to 30lbs as needed.Ability to follow all safety and health regulations
