Job Description

We are looking for a Creative Director to join the Marketing Team and lead all Creative strategy and content creation. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and will be supported by an internal team as well as external agencies and freelancers. The Creative Director will drive the look and feel of our brand and collaborate across departments to ensure all content needs are met.

ResponsibilitiesOwn creative direction of the brand:Own the brand voice, communication and storytellingOwn the visual and digital identity of the brand and maintain a cohesive look and feel for all brand assets

Lead internal creative team and oversee external agency relationshipsManage creative department timelines and budgetsCurate a culture of creativity and innovation on the creative teamConduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives in a fiscally responsible mannerPrioritize work and resources across engagements, based on short- and long-term needs, and develop content schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production artistsCollaborate cross-functionally with Partnerships, Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to bring the brand to lifeLeverage partners, expert content and influencers to produce assets that increase customer engagementSupervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, social-media experts, photographers/videographers, and project managers in the strategic development of messaging and deliverablesProduce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for sophisticated audiencesReview and approve art and copy developed by the team, including but not limited to all web, print, and digital collateral, ensuring that deliverables address marketing goals and challenges effectivelyOversee the presentation of final concepts, and obtain approvals for deliverablesOversee the design layout and visual impact of marketing materials and productsManage external agencies and partners

RequirementsTen years of relevant experience, with seven or more years as a creative director in an agency or corporate settingExperience in creating marketing/advertising campaigns - from developing the vision and messaging platform to overseeing production on time and within budgetExperience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and printProven ability to develop successful conceptsProficiency in leading a team of diverse, talented creativesStrong creative vision, with an eye on business objectivesBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, media, or related fieldExperience as a copywriter, graphic designer, or production artistExperience in project management, with a focus on creative directionAbility to think strategically and translate a creative vision into an executable planGreat communication and collaboration skills to work effectively cross-functionally and with agency partnersEntrepreneurial mindset with a bias towards actionPassion for a high performance lifestyleLocation

This position is a hybrid role in-person out of our Santa Monica, CA office, and requires travel quarterly. Relocation support to be provided if needed.
