Guide by the values of the company, the Technical Sales Manager directly supports product development efforts on existing, and pipeline products, manages branded portfolio business with the key channel partners, and delivers value by listening, learning, and delivering to the customer.
This role is 50% technical (focusing on melt shop managers and technical support for product development) and 50% Sales (focusing on purchasing/procurement key customers/channel partners.
RESPONSABILITIES• Focus on addressing technical expert on the melt shop (foundries / Stell Mills);• Responsible for technical recommendations on current portfolio and pipelines products applications;• Maintain relationships with foundry/steel community;• Responsible for driving sales to support business growth and achieving profitability and business goals;• Builds, implements, and drives strategic and tactical customer business plans;• Collaborate with Product Strategy, account and Marketing leaders to ensure flow of market information to help grow business;• Plan, place and execute product trials at end users;• Cultivate lont-term business relationships with customers and potential customers.
TALENT AND KNACK
BA required in Material Science / Metallurgy or related field;
10+ years of foundry/steel sales experience preferred;
