About the Job:
The Marketing Director is an exciting role that will oversee the marketing strategy for Taco Bell Latin American & the Caribbean (LA&C). This role is responsible for building the future of the brand in the region, driving Taco Bell's unique culture, while acting as a brand ambassador and a key influencer. This role will have a direct report as well as be responsible for coaching and supporting marketing leads across the region. This person must be a strategic, commercial, and conceptual thinker who can hit the ground running, create immediate impact and take Taco Bell LA&C on the next step in its exciting journey. The Marketing Director will report to the General manager of Taco Bell LA&C, sit on the LA&C Leadership Team and work closely with Taco Bell's International CMO.
The Day-to-Day:Deliver bold vision to grow brand across multiple countries. Inspire and influence vision to cross-functional leadership and franchisee partners.Create regional marketing strategy to drive topline salesLead the Regional Marketing Fund: drive development and alignment of regional calendar including product innovation, manage budget, organize and host regional meetings.Build and sustain strong franchise relationships; build capability with their teams to drive business growth and profitability via development of targeted marketing plans.Understand local cultures and consumer behaviors to build brand awareness, relevance, and affinityCollaborate with Technology teams to develop and implement best in class digital consumer experiencesLead the brand launch in new markets across LA&C via consumer research, brand strategy, menu development and launch campaignsActively coach and develop direct report; promote culture of collaboration and recognitionExtensive (50%+) international travel to perform market visits and franchise meetings as neededIs This You?
Highly motivated individual with a passion for driving results and transformational changeBig, strategic thinker who isn't afraid of getting involved in the detailsInspirational leader with proven ability to influence, collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external teamsBachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred in business, marketing or related fieldMinimum 10 years preferred of relevant experienceExperience in QSR/restaurant industry, CPG, marketing/advertising agency, or multi-channel retail industry - international and/or franchised business experience highly recommended, experience in Latin America a plusA strong grasp of key business and industry drivers and a track record of capitalizing on identified consumer trends, insights, and data analytics to develop creative/breakthrough business-building strategiesImpactful and articulate communicator with ability to conduct business (read, write and present) in fluent Spanish and English.
