Job Description

The Business Development Manager drives total omni channel business within a respective Demographic Marketing Area through partnership with a team of Account Executives (AEs), the Key Account Team, e-commerce and local retail partners. The Business Development Manager is responsible for strategic oversight and analysis of market and field trends.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**) :

Area Omni StrategyDevelop a plan to achieve/exceed Omni sales goals for area based on expectations for sales and penetration through CRM and market trends.Work with Regional Director to align with Account Executives and Key Account Managers to create dynamic market plans to drive Dior to #1 Luxury brand in North America.People Development and Calendar Management

Manage the Field Operations Coordinator and support team to fully execute the duties needed to support the market calendar.Support and manage the market DSA, NSE, and Celebrity events.Maximize the market calendar to ensure all tools, POSM, VM, TOAs, samples and testers are deployed in the most efficient ways.Review market performance with Account Executives and collaborate with them on improvement strategies and tacticsFinancial Analysis and Budget Management

Analyze sales performance and identify opportunity for growth and gaps for improvementAnalysis and tracking of CRM for retailersIdentify/Measure Market Share opportunitiesDemographic AnalysisManage T&ERetailer Relationships

Cultivate an added level of relationships with Regionals Vice Presidents, Regional Merchants, District merchants, and Store Managers to support the Account Executives in the market.Retailer event strategy in partnership with digital/social sellersProvide input into Key Account strategies based on knowledge of in-store activity and opportunitiesSupervision Received:

years of sales experience in cosmetics or retailPrior experience with managing and driving retail results with Department Stores and Specialty retailersProven experience in hiring, training, and developing sales personnelStrong understanding and knowledge of leading beauty and fragrance brands and their competitive positioningStrong understanding of operating practices of key Multi-Brand, Department Store and Specialty retailersCritical Skills:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a team of sales personnelRelationship Building:

Ability to network actively and establish strong client relationshipsPlanning and Execution:

Experience in developing innovative in-store events and creative solutions to operational issuesBusiness Analytics:

Experience in using analytical metrics to assess business performance and create an action plan in responseOrganization:

Experience in organizing all facets that play into a robust area marketing calendar. Must be able to juggles multiple account priorities at a given time.
