We are currently seeking a
Packager
with a strong work ethic and desire to be an integral part of an effective team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
Packages and inspects brick in a fast paced production environment.Production facilities are not climate controlled and work is outdoors and indoors in all types of weather conditions and work environments.
Skills and Experience Required for SuccessPrevious experience in a production environmentAbility to stand for up to 10 hours dailyAbility to constantly use both hands/arms simultaneously to grip, lift and carry bricks weighing 16 to 35 pounds - up to 4,000 repetitions per shiftAbility to constantly bend and twist at the waist, knees and neck while packaging brick from floor level to 65 inches - up to 4,000 repetitions per shiftAbility to frequently reach overhead up to 75 inchesAbility to visually inspect brick for clarity and colorAbility to wear PPE (personal protection equipment) - required and providedCompetencies Required for Success

Safety Sensitive Position:
(1) Any position involving a safety-sensitive function pursuant to federal regulations governing drug and alcohol testing adopted by the US Department of Transportation or any other rules, guidelines, or regulations adopted by any other federal or state agency; or (2) Any position designed in writing by the Company as a safety-sensitive position which includes tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others including, but not limited to, working with confidential information, the operation or repair of a motor vehicle, equipment, or machinery, or the supervision of an employee responsible for operating or repairing a motor vehicle, equipment, or machinery.
