Why this role is important to us

The SimCorp North America Sales Team is responsible for driving growth across the region. We have big global commercial aspirations, and North America is the key market. Your focus is growing the business in NA across the Institutional Asset Owner/ Pensions target landscape.

What you will be responsible for

New Business Development - Prospecting and Lead Generation

Identify and qualify Asset Owner/Pension leads, develop pipeline of sales opportunities, and finally convert these opportunities to completed sales. Consistently seek to exceed individual sales targets and attain win-rates above SimCorp averagesRespond to tenders and requests for information/proposal in a timely manner, providing both accurate and detailed information to meet expectations, that shortlists SimCorp in preferred positionCreate awareness of the SimCorp value proposition amongst the Pension industry through proactive outreach, participation at industry conferences and campaigns.Sales Planning & Process Management

Leverage a detailed understanding of SimCorp's sales model, sales methodology, relevant processes and sales tools and proactively accurately communicate key information via these tools.Develop and maintain knowledge of SimCorp's product and service portfolio, capabilities and other offerings from a business development perspective, in a way that this is translated into client business outcomes in concrete sales casesContinuously identify and monitor Pension market trends and competitor activityOvercome competitive sales objections and position SimCorp's products and services against competition and client needs, in a way that translates into client business outcomes in concrete sales casesDemonstrate sales creativity in combining our offerings or looking to create unique offerings that present strong return on investment for the firm and/or cost savingMaintain an accurate and up to date pipeline and forecast

What we value

Proven experience in enterprise financial software or services sales, ideally with a vendor catering to the Asset Owner industry or equivalent experienceKnowledge of or experience with SimCorp Dimension will be considered as an assetKey expertise and experience in the following areas:Investment management processes (front, middle and back office)Challenges and opportunities facing Asset OwnersManaging complex and long sales cycles with eight figure financial impactC-suite and operating committee engagement processWillingness to travel as requiredFlexibility to attend SimCorp office 2x/week as per our hybrid policy

For New York City only:

The salary range for this position is $120,000-$160,000 USD. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
