National Account Manager - Strategic End Users
will report to the VP of National Accounts. This position will be responsible for developing new business with large end users directly. Will develop and manage action plans and selling strategies designed to penetrate new end users and accounts.ResponsibilitiesNew business development directly with large end user accounts in the industrial and commercial segments.Customer Contact- Visits, Execute day-to-day call cycle management, using a wide variety of techniques, from referral and networking to highly technical consultative sales techniques.Develop strong ties with key end user customers and accounts and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact the market.Responsible for prospecting and developing sales opportunities with current direct end user accounts and new targeting accounts.Work with customer service and finance to establish new end user accounts.Works with internal departments (purchasing, production, etc.) to understand pricing structures of product line in order assist with pricing negotiations and proposals.Provide product awareness and value proposition training to target accounts (webinar and onsite).
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration or another relevant field, preferred.Minimum 5 years' experience in successful end user sales.Solid listening, negotiating, and closing skills.Establish sales process to drive repeatable success.Strong attention to details while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.High energy, outgoing and friendly personality.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, necessary.Road warrior- greater than 50% travel required.
